MK Dons defender Antony Kay will miss out when MK Dons journey to Preston on Sunday.
Kay will be suspended for the Deepdale trip after after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign during his side's 2-2 draw with Portsmouth last Saturday.
The npower League One promotion hopefuls were rocked this week with the news that fellow defender Gary MacKenzie is expected to be out for three months after being told he faces hip surgery.
The Scot, 26, has not played since a 1-1 draw with Notts County in September.
