Robinson wanted more

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson felt his side deserved more after the goalless draw with Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Dons ended a run of three successive npower League One defeats with the point and, although Robinson was pleased to have seen his troops stop the rot ahead of Saturday's FA Cup fifth-round tie against in-form Barnsley, he felt they deserved greater reward.

"We were the better side and deserved all three points," he said after seeing his side dominate a scrappy game on a bumpy pitch.

"But it shows what sort of place we are in when we are disappointed to only come away with a point from a team second in the league

"The whole team worked really hard and we had two or three really good chances yet our keeper didn't have a shot of note to save, which says it all."

Rovers, who were without several regulars, had midfielder Martin Woods back in their starting line-up for the first time in over two months, but Robinson felt he should have walked in the second period.

"He was booked in the first half and he should have picked up a second booking in the second half but the referee bottled it," he claimed.
