Craig Brown has put Saturday's lacklustre display against Hamilton down to 'tiredness' and feels the fixture schedule is to blame.

Well made it six games unbeaten with a 0-0 draw against Accies, although it was a poor quality match and Craig Brown admits his side were below par on Saturday.

After a quality display in the 1-1 draw with Rangers in midweek, the former Scotland boss felt fatigue was showing among his squad.

Brown told the The Herald: "I've been asked how we could be so wonderful midweek and then so flat, and for me the answer is tiredness.

"The fixture schedule is killing the players and detracting from the quality of play. Normally we analyse DVDs of our matches, but I've no desire to look back on this one. It was a horror show."
