Well boss Craig Brown admits Falkirk were the better side but feels in-form striker Lukas Jutkiewicz would have made a difference.

The 20-year-old forward, on loan from Everton, had been ruled out of the game through injury and Well paid for his absence with a second consecutive defeat to ruin their hopes of going fourth.

Jutkiewicz leads the scoring charts for the Steelmen with 10 in the campaign and Brown believes he would have helped secure at least a point if he had played.

"We missed Lukas as he is our top scorer and a very important player for us," Brown said.

"Lukas may have made the scoreline different at the end when we were throwing balls into the box and creating chances.

"I am not making excuses but we might have deserved a point had he been in the side but certainly not three."
