Craig Brown is in talks with the representatives of several Well first-team players as he bids to get them signed up for next season.

Brown has given the players a few days off but plans to meet many of their agents with a view to securing their services.

"Although we can't talk to them while they are off, we can talk to their representatives, who are just as important," said Brown.

"It's not right to name individuals, but all the players know I want to keep them.

"There's not one single player in the first-team pool, who has been playing regular for us, that I don't want to keep.

"It's just a case of trying to get things thrashed out and I'll use this week trying to do that.

"If we can get agreements, that'll save us a bit of a search elsewhere. We have players in mind if need be."
