Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven are on the trail of Motherwell defender Mark Reynolds and may make a move in the summer.

The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the best defenders in the SPL, and has been catching the eye of a number of clubs south of the border, as well as PSV.

Motherwell managed to keep hold of Reynolds in 2008 despite Rangers' transfer bid, but may face a stiffer task this summer.

The player's agent, Kenny Moyes, has confirmed there has been interest in his charge, including from PSV, but remains coy on his future plans.

"It is true that PSV are admirers of Mark," Moyes told skysports.com. "They have held a long-term interest in him and have watched him on several occasions.

"There are a few teams in the English Championship who are also watching Mark and they are keeping tabs on him.

"Mark has just over a year to run on his contract and we will see what happens at the end of this season."
