Michael McGlinchey believes his confidence has increased since arriving at Motherwell and feels Craig Brown 'believes' in him.
The New Zealand international is currently on loan at Fir Park from A-League's Central Coast Mariners until the end of the season, having previously had a spell in the SPL.
The 23-year-old endured a torrid spell at Celtic before leaving last summer, but now feels he can make a big impact during his stint at Motherwell.
McGlinchey revealed: "I've had my confidence lifted by playing for a manager who believes in me and hopefully I can bring that confidence to Motherwell. My first game is against Rangers at Fir Park (on Wednesday) and I can't wait to get started added.
"Coming to Scotland during the Australian close-season is the perfect way for me to try to keep my career moving along."
