Jim Gannon has called on the SFA to ask managers opinions on referee displays, after he blasted Alan Muir on Saturday.

Muir was at the centre of controversy and received criticism from both managers after Dundee United were reduced to nine men following the dismissals of Prince Buaben and Danny Swanson.

Gannon claimed the two red cards spoiled the game and the manager has called for Scottish Football's governing body to implement a formal review procedure.

The 'Well boss stated: "We had major problems in England. When we started dialogue about trying to improve refereeing standards, you need to have managers' feedback.

"I'm not a party to (referee reports) and they don't ask me my opinion."
