Motherwell are set to have only 12 recognised outfield players for their Europa League first qualifying round tie against Llanelli.

The Steelmen have yet to name a successor to outgoing manager Mark McGhee ahead of next Thursday's first leg clash against the Welsh side. With six of last season's first team departing Fir Park, the SPL outfit have had to name 10 of their under-19 team in the 24-man squad handed to Uefa.

Goalkeeper Graeme Smith, defenders Brian McLean and Bob Malcolm, midfielders Stephen Hughes and Maros Klimpl and striker Cillian Sheridan are all either out of contract or have left the club following the expiry of loan spells.

However the match should see keeper Michael Fraser, who joined on a free transfer from relegated Inverness Caledonian Thistle, make his debut in the match.
