Newcastle boss Chris Hughton claims he will focus on his own side's promotion push rather than watch those around them.

Hughton's side sit at the top of the Championship table but the Newcastle boss claims he is unconcerned with the fortunes of the other clubs chasing promotion.

However, Hughton admits Newcastle's promotion rivals' form remains a cause for concern but is keeping the focus on his own team.

He said: "We are where we are, and we'll 100% not under-estimate what's below us at this moment.

"Forest lost to Derby, but they're capable of going on another big run.

"You also look at West Brom - who have won again - and Cardiff, who are also on a good run.

"There are so many good teams. We've just got to make sure we stay focused on our own games."
