Joey Barton has again been given the backing of Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan as he prepares to leave prison next month.It will come just four days before the Magpies get their new Premier League campaign underway at Manchester United, which he will not be ready to feature in. However Keegan is standing by Barton and is willing to give him another chance, despite the fact he was recently given a suspended four-month sentence for a seperate incident involving former Manchester City team-mate Ousmane Dabo
He told the BBC: "My view is to give him another chance and back him. He has served his sentence, he's been punished for what he did wrong.
"The world is littered with people who deserve a second chance, got that chance and took it with both hands. I said I would stick by him and I intend to do that."
