Newcastle have sealed the season-long loan signing of Uruguayan star Ignacio Gonzalez on the day he signed for Valencia.Gonzalez is currently away on international duty but reports claim he has already passed a medical and will come straight to Tyneside from South America.
Valencia vice president Fernando Gomez said: "We have many players who can play in midfield and this is an excellent solution for both sides. We expect the formalities to be completed on Monday morning."
