Magpies welcome fitness boost

Steven Taylor is expected to return to the Newcastle side for Saturday's clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Kevin Keegan has seen his squad ravaged by injury in recent weeks, but the manager will be delighted to have Taylor back fit after struggling recently with an ankle problem.

The Magpies boss though still have concerns in the attacking departments, with Obafemi Martins and Damien Duff set to miss the Gunners clash with groin and knee injuries.

Mark Viduka is still a month away from a first team return and with Alan Smith also doubtful, Keegan could be forced to field several youngsters on the bench.
