Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has told fans that he will remain at the club despite Joe Kinnear's appointment as director of football.
Magpies owner Mike Ashley has already had to deal with the resignation of Derek Llambias, who left his position as managing director in the wake of Kinnear's appointment.
The decision to appoint the former Wimbledon boss has not gone down too well with fans in the north east after he launched an attack in their direction as well as mispronouncing the names of some of the star players.
Punters using their free bet may be interested to know that Pardew is eager to stay on at St James' Park and is aiming to avoid a relegation scrap and repeat the feat of two years ago and secure European football.
Pardew said: "I am staying - and I will lead Newcastle back up the table."
