Stoke boss Tony Pulis is interested in signing Michael Owen but admits the Potters are not favourites at the moment.

The out-of-favour England international will leave Newcastle when his deal expires this summer and his advisors have circulated a brochure outlining the 29-year-old's strengths.

Hull are eager to talk to Owen but now Pulis has also thrown his hat into the ring as he looks to add to his squad.

Pulis told The Sentinel: "I'm not sure whether Michael would want to come here right now, but that situation could always change for him.

"I imagine there will be bigger clubs taking an interest in his availability for the moment, and I can't say I've received a copy of his dossier, but that doesn't mean he will end up signing for them necessarily."
