Newcastle will welcome back Fabricio Coloccini and Papiss Cisse for tonight's Europa League clash with Maritimo.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew is desperate for a win following a poor run of results in the Premier League and he has been boosted by the news that two key players are back available.
Coloccini is eligible despite serving a three-match domestic ban following his sending off against Liverpool and will come into central defence, while Cisse will return to the attack.
The striker was forced to miss the defeat against Swansea at the weekend after Senegal invoked FIFA's five-day rule, something which infuriated Pardew, but will start tonight.
Elsewhere, Shola Ameobi is a doubt with a groin injury but midfielder Jonas Gutierrez should be available after recovering from a knee injury.
