Newcastle could have Cheick Tiote, Fabricio Coloccini and Sylvain Marveaux all available against Liverpool this weekend.
The Magpies are in desperate need of a lift as they look to pull clear of the relegation zone in the remaining games of the season and the return of key players from injury will be just the ticket.
Out of the three, Tiote looks most likely to start but Coloccini and Marveaux could be in the squad and may even take a place on the bench against Brendan Rodgers' side.
"I think Cheick has a really good chance," Pardew revealed. "Colo will train on Thursday or Friday. To have him around will be a boost."
Meanwhile, Marveaux is back from a groin injury but it remains to be seen if Pardew will throw him back into such an important game when he does have other options.
Elsewhere, Davide Santon also has a hamstring injury and it is doubtful whether he will play again this season.
