Newcastle target Ola Toivonen admits that leaving PSV Eindhoven in January would be the perfect scenario for both him and the club.
The Swede's current deal at the Philips Stadion expires at the end of the season and recent reports claimed he could be offered to Newcastle in January if a deal cannot be hammered out.
Leaving Holland in the winter would mean PSV could still demand a transfer fee for Toivonen, while in contrast if he saw out the final months of his contract he would be able to leave on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old admits it is a difficult situation for both him and the club and concedes that he doesn't know what he is going to do.
He told Fotbollskanalen: "It's a question of how do I get what I want and how to get PSV something for me, the big question remains whether I should leave bite marks or not."
