Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd must decide whether to freshen up his team for the trip to Aldershot.
Boothroyd named an unchanged starting XI for the third straight match on Saturday and saw the Cobblers climb into the play-off places in npower League Two with a 1-0 home win over promotion rivals Burton.
David Artell is ready to make his long-awaited return. The experienced centre-back has made a complete recovery from the Achilles injury that has kept him out since the start of October but he was not included in the squad at the weekend.
Boothroyd could also call on the likes of Ishmel Demontagnac, Lewis Hornby, Lewis Wilson and Louis Moult should he wish to make changes.
Defender John Johnson, who has spent several weeks on the sidelines due to a knee injury, is close to returning to contention but will not be considered for selection.
Boothroyd will take a cautious approach with the full-back, who has had two knee operations this season and whose comeback from the first of those was aborted in November.
