Cobblers suffer another injury blow

Last Updated: Mon, 28 Oct 2013 10:50

Northampton striker Roy O'Donovan looks set to be ruled out for a month.

The 28-year-old will undergo surgery on a hernia problem on Tuesday, meaning he will be sidelined for a month.

The forward joins Kevin Amankwaah, Matt Heath, Kelvin Langmead, Lewis Hornby, Alex Nicholls and Clive Platt on the injury list.

However, Platt and Heath are closing in on a return, and should be back in training later this week.
