John Johnson has made his return from injury with a run out in a behind-closed-doors practice match at Stoke.

Johnson has been out since November after undergoing surgery on a troublesome knee problem. However, the full-back had been on the bench for the recent defeats at Gillingham and Rotherham.

He completed the full 90 minutes against the Potters on Tuesday afternoon.

The match also saw new signings Manny Oyeleke and Roy O'Donovan get some game time, as well as giving Lewis Wilson and Louis Moult a run out ahead of this weekend's npower League Two clash at home to Rochdale.
