Northampton forward Lewis Wilson has been recalled from his loan spell at Kettering.

Wilson, who scored nine goals in two stints with the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division side, has been brought back to Sixfields ahead of the conclusion of the temporary deal, which was due to expire at the end of this month.

The Cobblers have confirmed that Wilson is expected to join another club this week.

The 20-year-old's first stint with Kettering proved the most fruitful as he scored eight goals during the Poppies' best run of form this season during December.
