Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy is aiming to force his way back into the England squad after returning from a long injury lay-off.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper has just returned from a five-month absence because of a thigh injury but came through Sunday's 4-0 win against West Brom at Carrow Road without any problems.
Ruddy will now look to stay in the side for Sunday's final Premier League game at Manchester City and then possibly get a recall from Three Lions coach Roy Hodgson for the upcoming summer friendlies against the Republic of Ireland and Brazil.
Ruddy, who made his England debut in last August's friendly against Italy after missing out on the summer's European Championship due to injury, said: "To be involved in the England squad would be fantastic.
"Whether or not it has come too soon remains to be seen, but it would be fantastic to be given the opportunity."
