Norwich City are preparing to launch another bid to try and secure the services of Celtic forward Gary Hooper.
Chris Hughton was eager to sign the former Scunthorpe United man in January but failed to meet the asking price with three separate bids.
The former Newcastle boss is now looking at making another move for the 25-year-old as he looks to try and bolster his squad ahead of the new term.
Hooper has made it clear that he would love to play in the Premier League but it is uncertain whether the Scottish champions will be willing to sell.
Neil Lennon revealed that the club had turned down an offer from Premier League new boys Hull on Tuesday after their valuation of the striker fell short.
It is understood that Hughton is looking to broker a deal worth around £5million for the man who has netted 63 goals in 95 appearances since moving to Scotland.
