Cardiff City are set to raid Norwich for Leon Barnett this summer, while James Vaughan is a reported target for Huddersfield Town.
Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay snapped up 27-year-old utility man Barnett on loan last season and he played a role in the side's Championship title-winning success which secured a place in the Premier League for next term.
Mackay saw enough from Barnett in the eight appearances - which included five clean sheets for the defence - he made for them to persuade him that a permanent deal swoop this summer is the way forward.
Barnett has just a year remaining on his Carrow Road contract and is not a firm part of boss Chris Hughton's plans so he could be allowed to depart.
Meanwhile striker, Vaughan, who has made only one start and five appearances as a substitute for Norwich since joining from Everton for £2.5million two years ago, is wanted by Championship side Huddersfield Town.
Vaughan spent last season on loan at the Terriers and picked up the Player of the Year award thanks to his 14 goals for the club.
Derby are said to be interested too, but Town hope their good relationship with Norwich which stemmed from the sale of Anthony Pilkington in summer 2011 will stand them in good stead to win the race.
