Canaries facing transfer blow

Last Updated: Wed, 16 Oct 2013 12:17

Norwich's hopes of signing Ola Toivonen have been hit following reports in Italy that Fiorentina are keen.

Boss Chris Hughton has been linked with the PSV Eindhoven striker for some time and is believed to have failed with a summer move for the Swede.

Toivonen's contract with PSV comes to an end next summer and the Dutch side are keen to retain his services but the striker is ready to move on.

Reports in Italy have suggested the forward's agent has already held meetings with Fiorentina over a potential move and so Hughton may have to look elsewhere for additions in attack.
