Canaries go for Bell

Luton winger David Bell looks set to join Norwich City in a deal worth £600,000.

The former Rushden and Diamonds man, who was subject to a failed bid from Coventry City earlier in the year, is on the verge of sealing a move to Carrow Road.

The highly rated 24-year-old winger has reportedly been for a medical at Norwich today and a deal seems imminent with a fee of £600,000 being quoted.

It has been reported that Luton have put all their playing staff up for sale and Bell, who is perhaps the star at Luton Town, looks set to leave the Exodus.

This will be a welcome relief for manager Glenn Roeder who missed out on Linfield striker Peter Thompson to Stockport County earlier in the week.
