Norwich pair Dani Ayala and Luciano Becchio have both been linked with moves to Championship side Middlesbrough.
Defender Ayala is set to join the Riverside Stadium outfit on an initial loan deal until January when the move could become a permanent switch, according to reports in the North East.
Boro boss Tony Mowbray has also been seeking a new striker throughout the summer and reports claim the Championship outfit have seen a bid of £1.8million accepted by Norwich for striker Becchio.
Becchio only moved to Carrow Road from Leeds in the January transfer window but failed to establish himself as a regular starter last term.
Norwich boss Chris Hughton has brought in Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Gary Hooper and Johan Elmander this summer and the raft of new additions in attack has pushed Becchio further down the pecking order, with the 29-year-old now expected to move on before the transfer window closes on September 2.
