Norwich will be without Marc Tierney and Dani Ayala for their Easter fixtures after the duo suffered setbacks playing for the reserves.
Canaries chief Paul Lambert is preparing his squad for a hectic long weekend as they welcome Everton to Carrow Road on Saturday before travelling to face high-flying Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Easter Monday.
And, in his pre-match press conference on Friday morning, the Scot revealed that defensive duo Tierney and Ayala will miss out after aggravating a long-standing groin issue and suffering a suspected knee ligament problem respectively following Tuesday's 1-1 second string draw against Sunderland.
Lambert told his press conference: "With Marc, this problem seems to be on-going. He'll go and see somebody next week and we have to try and get to the bottom of this, what is wrong.
"It is the groin again, which has been the same since Wolves in December. We've tried everything to get him back but he is going to have see a specialist now."
On Ayala, he added: "Daniel looks as if he has a little bit of a ligament problem on the outside of his knee. He'll maybe have to see somebody as well."
As for Monday's game at White Hart Lane, Spurs loanee Kyle Naughton will be ineligible for the trip.
On the positive side, Lambert has no fresh injury problems to deal with as Norwich will be boosted by the return of striker Grant Holt from a one-match ban, while midfielder Anthony Pilkington trained on Thursday following the hamstring injury which has forced him to miss two games.
Young keeper Declan Rudd successfully came through a 45-minute run out in midweek against the Black Cats reserves.
