Norwich captain Grant Holt accepts he has become "isolated" in attack this season, but will roll up his sleeves and get on with it.

The Canaries battled to a goalless draw at QPR, where Holt again had few chances to add to his four goals.

However, the veteran former Shrewsbury frontman - who helped spearhead Norwich's meteoric rise from npower League One back up to the Barclays Premier League - is content to put a shift in for the greater good as Chris Hughton's squad look to steer clear of being dragged into the relegation dogfight.

"Everyone is aware I have to adapt the way I have played this year with the new manager and maybe not getting as many chances as I like, but you have to get on with it," said Holt, whose 17 goals last season had brought calls for a place in the England squad.

"It is never about me, or how many goals I score, it's what I do for the team.

"You have to do a job which the manager and the team is asking you to do, it is a lot more isolated than I want, but you get on with it.

"The lads know what I do for the team and I am happy with that."
