Hughton praises Mackay's men

Chris Hughton has praised the job done by his opposite number Malky Mackay at Cardiff City ahead of this weekend's crunch clash.

The 54-year-old City boss has been impressed by the Bluebirds under Mackay as he prepares to take his Canaries side into battle with the Premier League new boys on Saturday.

"Malky Mackay has done an incredibly good job at Cardiff," said Hughton. "I watched them a lot last year and they fully deserved promotion."

The City boss partially acknowledged the importance of the result at Carrow Road - a match which has already been described as potentially a relegation six-pointer.

He added: "We all know it's a results business - if we keep playing as we are, we'll be ok."
