Kennedy in Canaries talks

NorwichNorwich are in talks with Celtic defender Mark Kennedy about a possible season-long loan move to Carrow Road.

Kennedy had been in pre-season training with Motherwell but they are believed to have been unable to meet Celtic's financial demands.

The 24-year-old has only recently returned to full fitness following a serious knee injury which he sustained against Shakhtar Donetsk for Celtic back in November.

Celtic are keen for Kennedy to play first team football this season and the English Championship now looks the most likely destination for the defender.

If Norwich manager Glenn Roeder were to sign Kennedy he would become his eighth signing of the summer.
