Arouna Kone has apparently rejected overtures from Norwich as he hopes to join Everton.
The Wigan frontman is expected to move on from the DW Stadium following Latics' relegation to the Championship and is wanted by Roberto Martinez, who wants to work with the powerful Ivory Coast star again after moving from the DW Stadium to Goodison Park.
Kone has made it clear he does not want to stay in the second tier in England and sees his future back in the Premier League - with Everton seemingly his chosen destination.
Norwich, and fellow Premier League side Swansea, have been linked with the striker but it would seem as if Kone will reject their advances.
Kone is believed to have told other clubs he only has eyes for Everton and will do all he can to push through a transfer, which could end up costing the Blues in the region of £6million.
