Defender Russell Martin believes team work has been the key to Norwich's progress in the Barclays Premier League this season.

Paul Lambert's squad, many of whom came up from npower League One in successive promotions, have produced some solid displays as they reached 39 points with a 2-1 home win over Wolves last weekend to close in on securing their top-flight status.

Scotland international Martin is in no doubt what is behind Norwich's continued development.

He said in the Eastern Daily Press: "You have got a strong core of characters that have been here throughout the whole thing and I think the people that come in just add to that.

"There are no egos and I don't think the dressing room would allow any to be honest, because of the way we are together.

"We have got no superstars. There is not one player you would say is a superstar. We are a team and we are better as a team. We are a real unit and we work harder than a lot of teams, which is why we get a lot of success."
