Defender Russell Martin will again be missing for Norwich for Saturday evening's Premier League visit of Manchester United.

The Canaries ace has been struggling to overcome a back injury of late and will again be out of the reckoning for boss Chris Hughton as he looks to send out a team capable of stunning Sir Alex Ferguson's table-topping Red Devils.

Midfielder Alex Tettey should be available despite the fact he pulled out of the Norway squad for their midweek friendly with Hungary with a minor back problem, while on-loan Tottenham striker Harry Kane continues his recovery from a broken metatarsal.

Hughton is expecting a tough time for his Canaries side this weekend but he does not feel it is beyond the realms of possibility to come out on top in the Carrow Road showdown.

He told the Evening News 24: "They are such a quality team, like City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal. It is difficult to get points against them.

"You know you have to either have that little bit of fortune against them or you have to play very well. If I look at our game tomorrow we will need every bit of what we have shown in the last few weeks to get something from the game.

"But it is possible and that is the reason why you have a group of players who will look very much forward to the opportunity."
