Anthony Pilkington has shaken off a knock and could be ready to face relegation-haunted Wolves at Carrow Road.
The ex-Huddersfield midfielder has trained for the last few days after being withdrawn with a hamstring problem towards the end of last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Newcastle.
Centre back Dani Ayala is also back in first team training, but City boss Paul Lambert stated this weekend's clash is likely to come too soon for the Spaniard or left back Marc Tierney.
The Canaries' back up keeper Declan Rudd is also pushing for a return to the first team squad over the next few weeks after stepping up his rehab from foot surgery.
Lambert is understood to be toying with the notion of starting both Steve Morison and Grant Holt in attack on Saturday.
Both strikers started when Norwich fired in nine shots on target at Molineux against Wolves, their joint-most in a single Premier League game this season, in the 2-2 draw back in December.
