Reports in Italy claim Norwich are close to completing a 9million euro deal for Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella.
Quagliarella's future with the Old Lady has been thrown into question following the arrival of Carlos Tevez and reports in Italy suggest the striker is set to join Norwich.
The report states Norwich will sign the player for a fee in the region of 8m-9m euro and will pay the 30-year-old striker a 2.5m euro per-season salary in a bid to convince him to move to Carrow Road.
Quagliarella, who has 25 caps for Italy, has spent the entirety of his career in his homeland but is believed to be open to a switch to another European league.
Chris Hughton is keen to bring in at least one more striker ahead of the new campaign despite the arrival of Ricky van Wolfswinkel, as the Canaries boss has admitted his side cannot afford to rely on the Dutchman too heavily next season.
