Roeder seeks physical presence

Glenn Roeder has confirmed he wants to bring a "bigger, more physical striker" to Norwich before the big kick-off.

Roeder has recruited Arturo Lupoli to bolster his attacking options but now wants to sign a more aggressive foil for the former Arsenal striker and Jamie Cureton to play off.

He told the Pink'Un: "He's an extremely hard-working player [Lupoli] and works off the shoulder and makes runs in behind.

"But we now need to find a bigger, more physical striker for him and for Jamie Cureton to play with.

"Cureton's at his best when he's playing with a bigger striker alongside him, the same as Arturo."
