Sky Blues eye Canaries starlet extension

Coventry City boss Steven Pressley is reportedly aiming to extend Norwich youngster Jamar Loza's loan spell at the club.

The striker has so far made just one brief substitute appearance for the League One outfit after being signed as cover on a 28-day emergency loan from the Canaries.

Norwich recalled him last week so he could play for the club's Under-21s in a game against Arsenal before he then returned to the Sky Blues.

Loza subsequently played and scored for Coventry's Under-21 side in a 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United on Monday and Pressley is thought to be keen to extend his stay for another month.

The Scot is expected to contact Canaries boss Chris Hughton this week to try and secure a deal for Loza to remain at the Sixfields Stadium in Northampton, where Coventry are playing their home games this season
