Billy Davies says he will field a completely different side against Reading to the one that lost at Birmingham last night.
Davies made seven changes to the Nottingham Forest line-up that lost 1-0 at St Andrews in the FA Cup third-round but says he will revert back to the players that has done so well in the Championship against the Royals.
The Scot has no regrets about making so many changes against Birmingham and insists it was necessary if Forest are to go on and win promotion to the Premier League.
"It was important to freshen up and rest people. We did that because we know what the priority is," he said. "We will have a very different side on Saturday, without a doubt. But it will be a different look to the side when we face Reading.
"It was all about fitness, about getting ready for the remaining league matches. We wanted to make sure some players got a good run out.
"That was the most important objective.
"We will sit down and talk about what we need to do on Saturday against Reading. We will get back to the important games that we have remaining. There will be changes, without a doubt."
