Reports in Midlands suggest Nottingham Forest are going to make an improved offer for Doncaster centre back Matt Mills.

Former Manchester City man Mills was last month the subject of a Forest bid, understood to be in excess of £2million, but Rovers stood firm and rejected the offer.

It appears Billy Davies though is ready to up the bid in an effort to tempt Doncaster into selling the 22-year-old - who cost Rovers £300,000 when he joined permanently last summer.
