Nottingham Forest striker Dele Adebola is a target for Championship rivals Ipswich, according to reports on Thursday.

Speculation suggests Adebola has been watched by scouts from the Suffolk side in Forest's 1-0 FA Cup third round replay defeat to Birmingham on Tuesday evening.

The 34-year-old striker, last season's player of the year at Bristol City, turned down the offer of a new contract to join Forest on a free transfer in the summer.

Adebola began the season in Billy Davies' starting line-up and has scored three goals in 26 appearances so far, many from the substitutes bench.
