Noble deal for Magpies

Notts County have signed former Carlisle midfielder Liam Noble on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old, who was out of contract after 18 months with the Cumbrians, came through the ranks at Sunderland before a successful loan spell at Carlisle which was made permanent in January 2012.

He will be reunited with his former manager at Carlisle Greg Abbott who is now assistant manager at Meadow Lane.
