Oldham have signed midfielder Korey Smith on loan from Norwich.

The 22-year-old has arrived at Boundary Park on a one-month emergency loan and could make his debut for the Latics against Bournemouth this weekend, subject to paperwork.

Oldham have wasted little time in filling the gap left earlier this week by skipper Dean Furman, who has joined Doncaster on loan until the end of the season.

Smith, who has made 73 appearances for Norwich, has had previous loan spells at Yeovil and Barnsley.
