Ricky Hatton has dropped a huge hint that he will make his ring return at the Millennium Stadium in Wales.

The 30-year-old has for the first time admitted he is ready to put his gloves on again despite his second-round humiliation by P4P king Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas last month.

Defeat to the Filipino superstar was Hatton's second major loss on the big stage following his equally demoralising setback against Floyd Mayweather in December 2007.

Family and close friends have urged the Manchester favourite to call time on his career but The Hitman has suggested he may not be ready to step back just yet.

He told The Sun: "I have always been treated well by the Welsh and so a comeback fight in Cardiff is not off the cards.

"I have never fought professionally in Wales and the Millennium Stadium is a world-class venue."
