Amir Khan admits he will face a risky fight when he takes on unbeaten Colombian Breidis Prescott on Saturday night.The big-hitting Prescott has won all of his 19 fights with 17 knockouts and, after being floored in his last spectacular bout, Khan knows the fight is a risk, but one he needs to take at this stage of his career.
"Its very risky," said the Commonwealth lightweight champion at his pre-fight press conference on Sky Sports News.
"It's a big step for me fighting an opponent with a big knockout percentage, he's undefeated just like myself and it's a 50-50 fight.
"It's going to be a tough fight on the night and the best man's going to win. I want to be a world champion at a young age so these are the fights I need.
"He's going to be strong - he's got the height advantage, he's got the reach advantage, but I've done my homework and I know how to deal with that.
"I've got my gameplan and I'm going to stick to that."
