Wilder happy with home comforts

Oxford manager Chris Wilder is pleased to have avoided an FA Cup first-round away day.

The U's will welcome Skrill Premier side Gateshead to the Kassam Stadium next month and Wilder was glad that his table-topping League Two outfit are on home soil.

"We're at home, so we're happy," he told the Oxford Mail. "We know they are going well, Gary Mills has gone in there and they have had some good results.

"We would expect, if we play well, to go through.

"We are in good nick and first and foremost we didn't want a long journey because there are lots you could have."
