Mark Cooper has parted company with Peterborough United after a disappointing run of one win in his 13 games in charge at London Road.
Cooper, who succeeded Darren Ferguson as Posh boss in November when he departed, has not been able to turn around the club's form and Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace left them rooted to the foot of the table 11 points from safety. As a result the former Kettering boss has had his contract terminated by the club.
A statement on the Posh website read: "After meeting with the Manager, Peterborough United and Mark Cooper are parting company with immediate effect following the termination of his contract.
"The football club would like to thank Mark for his professional and dedicated service during his time at London Road and wish him and his family all the best for the future."
