Peterborough defender Tommy Williams has revealed that he is keen to sign a new contract at London Road.

Williams is out of contract at the end of the season and recently spent time on loan at Championship rivals QPR but would welcome the opportunity to extend his Posh career beyond this summer.

The 29-year-old told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I've never fallen out with anybody here and I love the club; I've been back here four times."

"If I was offered something that was suitable, I would definitely sign.

"I'm keeping my options open because I've got one little boy who's about to start school and another child on the way."

Williams made his first appearance since returning from his loan spell against Tottenham in the FA Cup third round this month - his first game under new boss Mark Cooper.
