Ferguson wants perfect week

Darren Ferguson has urged his Peterborough players to complete the perfect week by recording their first home league win of the season.

Posh finally kick-started their npower Championship campaign last weekend with a 3-1 victory at Hull, and Ferguson's side followed that up with a 2-0 success at Barnsley on Tuesday night.

Peterborough have lost all four of their league matches at London Road this season but reversing that trend against Forest could lift them off the bottom of the table and out of the bottom three.

"Forest is now a very important game for us," Ferguson told the media at his pre-match press conference. "At the start of the week we might have settled for six points from the three games but having won two games away from home, a third victory in front of our own fans would cap a perfect week.

"We now have the confidence and self-belief to go and give Forest a hard time and we want to perform in front of our own fans now, although they might have to be patient.

"The formation we have used in the last two games worked perfectly, but it is a different challenge at home. It would be difficult for me to change anything after the two wins so it might be a case of our fans being patient."
